Research Goal
My goal is to create formal models and methods that allow the user to describe and reason about distributed and real-time systems more accurately.
Description of Your Research
My research includes studying the composition of distributed and real-time systems and their system properties and attributes.
Examples Of How My Research Is Integrated Into My GK-12 Experience
The students are learning that modeling of distributing system includes mathematical models such as quadratic equations. The students are using their skills to construct a simple music download system. They are required to model the distributed music download systems. By modeling the distributed systems, the students are able to reason about and draw conclusions about the systems through knowledge acquired through system modeling.
Currently, My GK-12 Classroom Is Investigating
The students are current researching how to model polynomial systems and how these models are useful in distributed systems.
